My
Story

Get to Know Me
Hailing originally from Toronto, Ontario, I made the decision to relocate to Nova Scotia back in 2016, all in pursuit of higher education at Acadia University. Fast forward to 2020, and I proudly earned my Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours, an accomplishment I complemented by securing a certification as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the esteemed Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CEP) – the benchmark for excellence in the field of exercise science and training. Obtaining this certification demanded over 300 hours of immersing myself in both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience across various health and chronic disease populations.
Today, the picturesque Annapolis Valley is where I hang my hat. My current role involves being part of the dynamic team at the Centre of Lifestyle Studies at Acadia University, where I serve as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Research Coordinator. In addition, I've taken the initiative to set up my own enterprise, where I continue to lead clients in personal training and organize group exercise programs throughout the Annapolis Valley.
Beyond my professional commitments, I find solace in spending quality time with my husband and pup. My personal interests revolve around activities such as strength training, yoga, running, and embracing the great outdoors. As for a perfect Saturday evening, you'll often find me at a local pub, savoring live music and relishing a crisp cider.
My true passion revolves around helping others navigate their journey toward a healthier lifestyle. There's nothing more gratifying to me than witnessing the transformation and burgeoning self-assurance of those I assist along the way.
My areas of expertise include:
- Older adults (aged 55+)
- Chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Cancer, High Blood Pressure, Osteoarthritis, Hip/Knee Arthroplasty, Obesity, and more.
- Pain management
- General population, especially beginners
- Pre and postnatal candidate (CSEP)
